St. Patrick's Day Tablescape - Ewe & McGregor

Welcome to my St. Patrick's Day Tablescape!
I was inspired by the beautiful photos of Ireland's countryside.  I love the sheep!  So I decided to go with a sheep farm theme.
Although my Sheep are not exactly the kind you would find on the hillside!
When I saw these sheep at Hobby Lobby I knew they had found a home.
My daughter was over visiting this morning and she helped me build the fence. We made it out of left over twigs from the twig table runner I used from Thanksgiving -  when I had shortened it up a bit.
After we finished the fence - we thought we needed to name our sheep farm.  We went back and forth with a few names and finally decided on Ewe & McGregor's Sheep Farm!
We set a place for the real Ewan McGregor - but something tells me he won't show up!
Either way we will still be enjoying this table for my Birthday dinner - because I was born on St. Patrick's day.  This is why I am so partial to green and love to decorate for St. Patrick's Day!

I hope you enjoyed our little sheep farm!
Let me know if you would love to have dinner with Ewan McGregor too!

  8. Oh Ann, I'd love to be right over to have a seat at your table!!! Happy St. Paddy's Day Birthday to you! The sheep theme is wonderful. The only European country my hubby and I have been to is Ireland and we saw LOTS of sheep. Your scene is adorable. I also checked out your mantle and loved it, too. 9. Get outta here! You were born on St. Patrick's Day??!?!! That's so cool!!! I'm green with envy! :-) Well, Happy early birthday! This is such a fun table, and it looks as if you and I were thinking along the same lines. I won't be posting until tomorrow, but I, too, was greatly inspired by the beautiful Irish countryside. One of these days I'm going to throw my inhibitions away and get on a plane to visit there. My niece says it is the most beautiful place on earth! I love the way you incorporated all the different sizes of rocks and the twig leftovers from your runner. Great idea! Your cabbage bowls are beautiful. I love the soft green color. Even the napkin rings are perfectly matched to the theme!!! Cute name for your farm. Almost as cute as the actual guy for which you named it!!! That dude is just cute as he can be!!! That boyish grin, that twinkle in those dreamy eyes...oh, wait. I'm married! :-) Great table, Ann!!!! Happy Birthday, Happy St. Patrick's Day, and have a great week!

  31. I am in love with your adorable sheep farm! I'd much rather run across those little cuties than the stubborn buggers that (literally) block the country roads in Ireland. ;~) No matter how much you honk the horn, they do NOT move along until they're good and ready. Your whole table is just as sweet as can be. Stopping by from Kathleen's party. Hope your birthday was wonderful!
