Welcome
Hi, I am Ann, a self proclaimed dish hoarder. I have a penchant for anything plaid, polka dot, or paisley. I love mixing patterns and colors. This has evolved into paper projects as well. I created this page as a way to share my inspiration and ideas with others! I find myself starting a new chapter in life at 65!! I am so grateful to the support of my children and my friends who have been by my side. I look forward to many more years of creative endeavors and hope to share more with you in the future! Thanks for stopping by :)

Ann, your white table with the orange accents is making me want a mimosa too! It's fresh and full of citrus goodness. Actually it reminds me or orange sherbet, so on second thought I'll skip the mimosa and have an orange sherbet.
ReplyDeleteHi Ann! I wanted those chargers/candle plates when I bought my clear glass plates at Ikea. Aren't they beautiful with that lacy edging? Your orange sure adds a pop of fun color and perfect centerpiece, too!
ReplyDeleteAnn I thought the same when I saw those chargers at Ikea. Now I have to find them sure could have used them this week. Orange was a great color choice bright and playful.

Ann, Summer, summer, summer! orange and white is summer to me and you captured it on your table. I drooled over those IKEA trays too and almost bought them last year. I did buy the candle holders that match them and after seeing how wonderful they work as a charger, I am going to get them on our annual fall shopping extravaganza to Atlanta. Dianne
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty table. The orange really pops! I have those chargers too, love them!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to Let's Dish and taking the challenge.
Love the fun pops of tangerine with the all-white dishes! Beautiful!

I will be right over for that Mimosa!! I am crazy about all of your orange - so bright and cheerful. You cannot possibly get into a bad mood looking at this table. The charger idea was absolutely brilliant and I love the centerpiece. What a great cake stand - love the way you can change the ribbon to match your table. This table is really an "original"!
ReplyDeleteWow! I love the "chargers"!! Brilliant! I was such a wimp with my table, trying to do all neutrals is so boring for a color person like me, I LOVE the bright orange and white! You get my vote, adorable!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this whole table! The chargers are wonderful. I sure wish I lived near an IKEA... The orange just pops out from the whites and has such a wonderful, dramatic effect. Yet even though it's dramatic, it's still casual and happy looking. I'm one of those people who loves orange, and this table rocked my socks.
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful. I love those chargers (candle plates) and the orange is a great pop of color! Jennifer
ReplyDeleteAnn, What a brilliant idea to use the candle plates as chargers. They are perfect under your plates. All of those pops of orange make this such a happy and summery table. Love the orange ribbon braided through your cake stand. Well done! laurie
ReplyDeleteAnn, this table is dazzling...I love all the orange against the starkness of the white. The chargers are really nice and I am sure you will get lots of use out of them.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week...
I love orange! I met my 'challenge' with it, too! I really love how you used the oranges in the tall vases!! Great table!
