In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.

Welcome
Hi, I am Ann, a self proclaimed dish hoarder. I have a penchant for anything plaid, polka dot, or paisley. I love mixing patterns and colors. This has evolved into paper projects as well. I created this page as a way to share my inspiration and ideas with others! I find myself starting a new chapter in life at 65!! I am so grateful to the support of my children and my friends who have been by my side. I look forward to many more years of creative endeavors and hope to share more with you in the future! Thanks for stopping by :)

Ann, you know I'm a fan of black and white, so this table really speaks to me. Your new plates are dreamy. Great find! I'll have to try my hand at some of the book page posy stems. They are a nice touch. I like the way you added more black and white to your hutch. That really sets the stage for your tablescape. Well done!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely hit the black and white "dream feel" perfectly! The flowers were a great addition, too. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteHi, Ann. Visiting back because you visited and commented on my Tartan winter post, and I'm so glad to be here. I think your table is so pretty. I don't have anything black, and I marveled at what you were able to do with it. It's such a pretty table! Your plates are beautiful too!

ReplyDeletePerfect, perfect, perfect. Love your black and white table. What a great choice, love every element and especially the floral plates and your paper roses. So I see now that you are crafty too. I just bought some black and white scrapbook paper to make some black and white cards soon. I love romance!!
ReplyDeleteLove it so much that I am pinning it. I haven't been shopping or out much since my knee replacement.
ReplyDeleteOver from The Scoop...
ReplyDeleteI love black and white with a passion so I am totally lovin' your table. :)
I love this post on so many levels. First of all, I LOVE the black and white theme (I am "crushing on it" as you were "crushing" on my sleigh ride plates with the polka dot edges -- which, to confess, is one of the reasons that I got them, sooooo many uses, stay tuned to see what I do!). I would really like to see each one of your plates in its entirety. What brilliance to use black and white and all sorts of patterns, and to continue into the napkins and those flowers. The flowers! I have wanted to learn to make these ever since my son and daughter-in-law had them made from sheet music for their wedding. Just think of the possibilities! You could reproduce old letters, old documents, well the world is your oyster. I'm babbling here, I know, just wanted to tell you how much I love the place setting. Pinning!
ReplyDeleteLove this and every little detail. Just wonderful.
