Welcome
Hi, I am Ann, a self proclaimed dish hoarder. I have a penchant for anything plaid, polka dot, or paisley. I love mixing patterns and colors. This has evolved into paper projects as well. I created this page as a way to share my inspiration and ideas with others! I find myself starting a new chapter in life at 65!! I am so grateful to the support of my children and my friends who have been by my side. I look forward to many more years of creative endeavors and hope to share more with you in the future! Thanks for stopping by :)

Ann, that bunny cloche is amazing and the lamb dish is too sweet! Your are correct about the aqua color popping - it is such a gorgeous color! Love your nests with the lovely blue eggs!

ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely pre-Easter table. The color is striking- that bunny tureen is adorable. The dish stack is great and I like the mix with the nests and bunny cloches. The pussy willows add a sweet detail to the napkins- love it!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful table, Ann...aqua is my favorite color for tablescapes...it can go with any other color. Love the little lamb covered dish.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week.
Hi there, Ann! This is a bright and yet soft color, one that is perfect for a "pre-Easter" tablescape! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the nubbiness of your placemats! They remind me of those throw rugs that I love so much. What a neat idea to use those little stems of willow to enhance your napkins!!! I also like how you incorporated the lamb into the centerpiece ("I am the Lamb of God...") and the cross. It's easy to forget the reason for the season if we're not careful.
This is so pretty. You did a wonderful job! Have a smooth and easy weekend!!!
Just lovely! I "get" the subdued feeling of your Lenten season tablescape and appreciate the symbolism in the cross and lamb and even the eggs in the nest can represent the "new life" we have because of the resurrection. I especially like how you used two of those cute cloches and two nests - good way to add interest to the table as well as not spending a fortune on multiple pieces! Pussy willows tucked in the napkins - another great touch!
