In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.

Hi, I am Ann, a self proclaimed dish hoarder. I have a penchant for anything plaid, polka dot, or paisley. I love mixing patterns and colors. This has evolved into paper projects as well. I created this page as a way to share my inspiration and ideas with others! I find myself starting a new chapter in life at 65!! I am so grateful to the support of my children and my friends who have been by my side. I look forward to many more years of creative endeavors and hope to share more with you in the future! Thanks for stopping by :)

Ann, I love your sunny table with the sunflowers! It says welcome! I always plant sunflowers, and they are about to bloom!
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous table. I love sunflowers but didn't plant any this year. Am really enjoying yours. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely table! I love the bee theme, very summery! The sunflowers are gorgeous! Such a happy table!..Christine
ReplyDeleteThis is so cheerful! Love the mass of sunflowers and the pretty beehive dishes! You've reminded me I have some too and should use them more often. You are so right about bees- a necessary part of our world but sometimes very pesky! I had to do battle with some ground bees last year that invaded my garden by the water fountain. Having hundreds of bees going by my face while trying to relax was not going to do!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty Ann! August always makes me think sunflowers, like the last burst of summer~ the bee skep and plates are adorable!

Your sunflowers are definitely making me smile! I really wanted to plant some this year but like every year I keep forgetting! Seeing your beautiful table just made me set a reminder in my cell pone to buy seeds and do it next year. Those cute little beehive dishes are to die for. Have a great day Anne!

So pretty Ann. Love the bee plates and your setting right by the water. So many cute touches for your table. The sunflowers are lovely and perfect for late summer. I haven't been blogging such, we have had another remodel project going on for a while: the bathroom. Take care.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely smiling as I pinned your pics! Love the look you've created with the sunflowers, cheery yellow plates and pretty stemware - all beside the brilliant blue water! Would love to dine here, bees or no bees! :)
ReplyDeleteAgree - sunflowers make me smile too! Great table setting :) xo
