In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.

Welcome
Hi, I am Ann, a self proclaimed dish hoarder. I have a penchant for anything plaid, polka dot, or paisley. I love mixing patterns and colors. This has evolved into paper projects as well. I created this page as a way to share my inspiration and ideas with others! I find myself starting a new chapter in life at 65!! I am so grateful to the support of my children and my friends who have been by my side. I look forward to many more years of creative endeavors and hope to share more with you in the future! Thanks for stopping by :)

I really enjoyed seeing all the fantastic colour and vibrant decor in your Cinco de Mayo tablescape! The faux cacti look wonderful alongside the real fruit - great idea for the centerpiece! We love trying craft beers too and love that you used those instead of margaritas.
ReplyDeleteOle Ann!! Love the bright colors and the cactus!! You have really captured the festive feel of Mexico!! Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Oh, my goodness! Ann, this makes me want to go out to lunch for Mexican food. This table is full of festive fun and gorgeous colors. Cinco de Mayo is big here in Austin! Your photos are gorgeous! Thanks for stopping by Hyacinths with such a lovely compliment. You are such a dear! Likewise you have inspired and delighted me with your tables through the years.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous table! The more color, the better, I say.
ReplyDeleteAnd I have a set of those plates, along with the bowls, too.
So bright and festive, makes me smile when I see them.
What a great table for Cinco de Mayo! I love the addition of the fresh fruit in bright colors in addition to the cactus! You have styled it perfectly!
ReplyDeleteAll the colors and the inspired centerpiece combined are so festive. A party is definitely going to happen here! I'm ready!
