Welcome to my first Collection on the Corner!
Today I am featuring nautical themed cards using the Come Sail Away Memories and More pack.
When I work on my cards, I rarely make one at a time. I always have so many ideas in my head that I tend to be all over the place working on several different cards at once with in the same stamp set or paper series. So, I have decided to post a small collection of cards using the same the same theme to give you lots of ideas on how to use your Stampin' Up! products.
The
Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack (you can click this link or find it on page 171 in your catalog) which is a fabulous pack of double sided cards, laser cuts and stickers with patterns and images all made to coordinate with the
Come Sail Away Suite. Although you can make many great cards with this pack and some card stock! I did use some extra's to embellish my cards and several of those things are not from the Come Sail Away Suite. So take a look and see what you like here!

The ships wheel and Congrats is from the
Sailing Home Bundle. I used the Under the Sea Dies for the net looking piece that adds some more texture.
✰✰✰✰✰✰✰✰✰
You Made My Day was one of the pre-printed cards in the Memories and More pack.
I cut the actual hexagon shape out of the preprinted card and raised that up with some dimensionals.
I ended up using the Arts and Crafts dies (the largest snap) for the two dark brown round washer type pieces - it was just the right size I was looking for - then I used a small diameter paper punch to punch the hole in the middle to bring the braided linen through.
✰✰✰✰✰✰✰✰✰
I liked the ripped edges so much in the first card - I decided to do it again with this one!
The two printed papers in the background as well as this lighthouse, plus the little compass sticker on the ships wheel are all from the Memories & More Pack. I used
White Stampin' Emboss Powder on the navy classic label for the Happy Birthday sentiment (from At Home with You - now retired)
✰✰✰✰✰✰✰✰✰✰
The "Ahoy There" spoke to me when I saw it one of the small preprinted cards - so I fussy cut it out and used it as the focal point on this card.
This is on a Black cardstock base, both of the striped papers where in the Memories & More pack. I stamped out the compass base and the two sailboats from the
Sailing Home Bundle with black ink. I used a scrap of silver foil paper for the compass needle and an old (retired) black rhinestone. The two little tabs of Flax Ribbon just add a bit of texture to the card.
✰✰✰✰✰✰✰✰
This last card was the most work but fun work!
I used watercolor paper and an aqua painter to lightly paint my sky and water.
I stamped the birds and light house from the Sailing Home Bundle- so I did have to put a bit more effort into this one! Two of the background papers are from the Memories & More pack, but the small striped paper on the bottom is from the
Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper.
✰✰✰✰✰✰✰✰✰
I hope you got some ideas from my cards. I still have a lot more of the Memories & More Cards
left from the pack, I barely made a dent in it!! Don't be afraid to cut them up and use the pieces and parts of each card. It also comes with some beautiful laser cut pieces that I didn't even use yet!
This pack is chalked full of goodies to use as you wish!
