Welcome to the 3rd addition of Collections at the Corner, featuring the It Starts with Art Bundle.

I have the step by step recipes for two of the four cards I made with this bundle. I stayed in a soft color pallet for these 4 cards, there are some vibrant colors in the Designer Series Paper as well.

Chances are if you are a creative person, you have some creative friends.  This is the perfect set to make cards and favors for those crafty acquaintances!  Whether they quilt, sew, craft, paint, draw or handy with the glue gun - this set has you covered.

You Make Everything Sparkle starts with an A2 Granite Grey Card base.

• a layer of Calypso Coral 4" X 5 1/4"
•  layer of the scissor DSP 3 3/4" X 5"
• Calypso Coral 3"X 4"- run it through the Button Button Embossing folder and adhere it at an angle.
• Using the 2 3/4" long Stitch Rectangle Die cut with Silver Foil cardstock
• Whisper White  Stitched Rectangle approx 2 5/16" with sentiment stamped in Granite Grey
• Cut a variety of buttons with the Arts & Crafts Dies, adhere with dimensionals
• add a bakers twine bow
• fill your spritzer with just a few drops of Champagne Glimmer Mist and add water until your spritzer is about half full and shake it well.  Place your card in an open box and give it a light mist of sparkle.  Not too much or your sentiment may smear.  You can't see this step real well in this photo - but it looks great with just a nice shimmer all over the whole card.
• add a few rhinestones

Let's Stay Up Late and Craft!

• Starts with an A2 base using Coastal Cabana cardstock
• layer with Follow Your Art DSP 4" x 5 1/4"
• Using the Arts & Craft dies, cut 3 coordinating colors of the eyelet trim, a paper clip and  a flower button 
• cut the patterned coral Subtle DSP using the  2 1/4" x  3 3/4" Stitched rectangle die, use liquid glue to adhere the three strips of cardstock eyelet  trim to the bottom of the rectangle and the paper clip to the top and adhere to your layered card base.
• Stamp two bottles and two ribbon spools, cut with coordinating dies, cut the heart part of the ribbon off of the spools and color with Stampin Blends.  
• from Coastal Cabana cardstock, stamp the square with Swirly Fames square in Coastal Cabana ink, stamp sentiment in black and cut using the stitched square.
• adhere the two colored ribbon spools stacking them, adhere sentiment square 
• using dimensionals adhere the flower button and your two bottles.
• from the Follow Your Heart Embellishment Kit - glue a bigger heart on, use dimensionals to attach the smaller heart.  Tie a bow from the twine and attach with either glue or a glue dot on to the flower button.

Follow Your Art Pieced Quilt

This was pieced together using 2 different sizes of the Stitched Rectangles with 4 different patterns.  It was fun to do the layout, just playing with the pieces on a base of Whisper White that was then cut to size.  This is a great way to use small scraps up!
