Welcome
Hi, I am Ann, a self proclaimed dish hoarder. I have a penchant for anything plaid, polka dot, or paisley. I love mixing patterns and colors. This has evolved into paper projects as well. I created this page as a way to share my inspiration and ideas with others! I find myself starting a new chapter in life at 65!! I am so grateful to the support of my children and my friends who have been by my side. I look forward to many more years of creative endeavors and hope to share more with you in the future! Thanks for stopping by :)

ReplyDeleteYour tables are always a highlight for me Ann! This is so adorable, and how special to think of and honor your favorite gal pals, I hope they can come and enjoy it with you! The little paper purses you made are so so cute, and I love the paper heart adornment on the napkin rings. Your plate stacks are wonderful, and my favorite tulips dance on your table! So much fun and fabulous here!

Ann, this is a delightful table filled with the traditional Valentine’s Day colors of red and white. Your plate stack is cheery and fun for the special ladies in your life. Those “stamping up” purses are fabulous party favors filled of course, with chocolates. I always enjoy blog hopping with you. Wishing you a Happy Valentine’s Day ❤️
ReplyDeleteWow Ann, I am loving your sweet table all decked out with red hearts. Red and white is so traditional. You nailed it! What a delightful way to honor your sweet gals. Tulips are gorgeous! Love the plate stack Ann. Your stamping abilities always impress, love the little purses filled with chocolates.
ReplyDeleteAnn, your table is sure to delight those special women in your family. What fun to spend special times with you sister, daughter, and daughter-in-law. So important!!! I love the tulips down the table, and like you, I prefer the patina of the wood to be my base. I rarely use a tablecloth, though I certainly have plenty! Love the plate stack too. I have a set of the red check and tassel dishes. Some of my favorites to use for Christmas and Valentines.
ReplyDeleteAnn, another wonderfully warm and welcoming table. Those red tulips look great --- I thought they were real. Did you repot them or did they come that way? Always love the personalized touches you craft and incorporate into your table --- a sweet treat!
ReplyDeleteDebbee, Nope! Didn't have to repot them, they came that way! I just dropped the two smaller ones in the checked dishes I had. I looked all over for another pot or crock to put the bigger one in - but never found anything that looked better than what it was on it's own.
DeleteOoh I love the dish stack on your table! The tulips look so cute and I love what you did with the napkins. Love the cute little gift purses are adorable! Have a Happy Valentine’s Day Ann!

This one is over-flowing with love and, of course, whimsy too. I love your mixture of patterns. It always works! The faux red tulips and red and white gingham mini plant pots are adorable. The mini purse is such a cute gift idea. I am sure your special ladies feel totally blessed to have you. Have a wonderful time together and it is always a pleasure to be blog hopping with you. ReplyDeleteAnn, this tablescape is preppy and fun! You consistently style your tables with fun elements, and I always look forward to seeing your creative flair. Love the basics - the plate stack, but especially those plaid bordered plates. The purses are great little takeaways, such a cute idea for you and your girls. And I have to say, those faux tulips are really nice. I love how you have a mix of closed and partially opened buds. Faux florals have really come a long way. It's great being in your company, and I wish you a Happy February!

ReplyDeleteI love your red and white table. All these years tablescaping I do not have any red plates. I have been on the look out and appreciate your source list. You did a great job mixing patterns! The faux tulips are impressive because they really look real with open and closed buds.
