Welcome to our Valentine's Day Tablescape Hop!!
We all need to send a little love out right now. Chloe Crabtree from Celebrate & Decorate has gathered all of her talented table stylists together for another blog hop, This time celebrating Valentine's Day. The links to all of the other wonderful blogs will be at the bottom of my post for you to follow and be inspired!!
I am sending some love out to you all with this blush pink and gray table setting.
I found these light pink heart dishes as I popped into Target to pick up some cleaning supplies!! They just happened to be only 4 lonely plates sitting on an end cap. It was almost as if someone had them in their cart and then decided not to purchase them - I took it as a sign that they had to come home with me!
Since we are not spending much time in the stores, I had to make do with things I already owned. Except the 4 heart dishes, I already had the tablecloth, napkins, charger, pink plates and the mugs.
Also in my stash was the pink striped pitcher, and the set of bowls.
I did splurge at one of my favorite local businesses - Paper Twigs - and purchased what they call - a little nugget - that is the little but very cute floral arrangement.
Then I got my craft on to make some complimenting details such as the heart pick in the flowers,
the kiss napkin rings, the hearts in my enjoy sign, and lastly, my little Love package at each place setting which contain several Ghirardelli Chocolates.
I used the Stampin' Up! Many Hearts Dies for the pick, the Postage Stamp Punch and the Posted For You Stamp for the favor box, and the Hearts & Kisses Stamp for the Kiss napkin ring. All of these items can be found by clicking on my store front in my right hand column. My store is open 24/7, just in case you are reading this late at night, as many of my creative friends do not sleep well!!
No lack of sweet things at this table to let someone know they are loved!

As the sign on my mantel says, Enjoy the little things for those are the big things!
I challenge you to do a little thing by sending a Valentine card to someone you haven't talked to in a while and make their day with your small gesture!
I hope you enjoyed my table!
And I hope you have a lovely Valentine's Day.

You’re a girl after my own heart…never overlook a sign from the universe when dishes are waiting for you to bring them home. ,-) Your sign to ‘Enjoy the little things’ is one of my favorite sayings and it certainly rings true in this day and age. It’s always a treat to join you at the table. Happy February and Valentine’s Day. ♥

ReplyDeleteThe gray was the perfect color to accent the light pink heart plates! I bet you were so excited to realize you had the same shade charger already.
You put your signature on the table with all your Stampin'Up items. The checked heart in your floral arrangement, cute box for chocolates and napkins rings are so cute.
Great Valentine Challenge idea!
Enjoy the week.
Such a pretty table. With your crafty skilly, the kiss napkin ring, chocolates are perfect. I saw those pink heart plates at Target. in fact, I had them in my cart and then put them back...LOL The pink is striking with the gray, a wonderful combo. The centerpiece is so pretty. A lovely table to enjoy Valentines. Always a pleasure Ann to hop along with you.
ReplyDeleteAnn, I love the pink and gray (that pairing inspired me too!). Funny how things work, such as those 4 plates being on an end cap for a quick trip to Target, right? In days where all we're doing are quick trips in (we've even curtailed those since the holiday spike in cases), it proves to be a simple pleasure to treasure. Your table looks great, and I love how you always craft with paper to make additional items that really brighten your table's look. I love a small floral arrangement. Yours is perfect! Happy February, Ann!
ReplyDeleteAnn, such a sweet and welcoming Valentines table! Regardless of a lack of space to store them, there's no question I would have grabbed those heart plates in a second! I'm almost tempted to venture out to Target on the odd chance they have some still. The pale pinks are lovely with the grey elements. Exceptional are the favor boxes you created! I always look forward to seeing your clever creations.
ReplyDeleteAnn, you always set lovely tables! The lonely pink heart plates found a wonderful home. Pink and gray make a beautiful statement on your table. The Stampin’ Up always adds such creativity and uniqueness to the tabletop. I love the little bouquet. Happy Valentine’s Day!
ReplyDeleteAnn, the pink and gray combination creates such a beautiful table setting for Valentine's day. Those sweet pink heart plates are perfect, and I am glad that you were able to bring them home. The little bouquet is so pretty and looks perfect displayed in the lantern. Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!! It's soft, romantic and pink/gray is one of my favorite color combos. I have the same flatware and don't use it often, thanks for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteHi Ann, I just love the color combination of pink and gray. Your little gift envelope boxes and kiss napkin rings are adorable. So glad you could catch a great buy at Target. I do miss all my trips to browse at stores for all of the little items for a tablescape. It is so creative that you can make some of the table decor and details for the table. They are so unique and make the tablescape so special. It is great hopping with you. Happy Valentine's Day.

ReplyDeleteJust lovely, Ann! Pink and grey is such a soft, feminine combination that's just perfect for Valentine's Day.
