St. Patrick's Day Tablescape- the Reprise of Ewe & McGreggor's Sheep Farm

We are celebrating St. Patrick's Day with a table that is bringing back an old favorite of ours, Ewe & McGreggor's Sheep Farm!

I am participating in a blog hop hosted by the gracious Debbee from Debbee's Buzz!!
The links to all of the table stylists participating today are at the end of my post, be sure to check out all of the shamrocks and shenanigans!

We are putting on the green here, despite the snow we are getting at the moment!
We had a warm weekend and we are expecting temperatures in the 50's later this week.
That is a tropical heat wave here!!  Our lake has been frozen over for a good month and we have seen nothing but ice fishermen.  But since the warm weekend, all of the fishing huts are gone, the sun has been making appearances, and even my some of my spring flowers are starting break through the ground!
St. Patrick's Day is usually the time we start putting away winter and look so forward to warmer weather and spring like days.  So pulling out the green for St. Patty's Day is always a welcomed event.
This table is a reprise of my Ewe & McGreggor's Sheep Farm table that I did for St. Patrick's Day way back in 2013!  My little sheep have been hanging around for years, here is their first appearance!
This year one of the little sheep had to take a trip into town in the farm truck -
no worries though - the vet said she would be fine!!
Nothing a few Peppermint Patties couldn't fix - so  I made this cute little treat box with the new Oval Occasions Bundle from Stampin' Up!  This bundle includes the double oval punch and the cute stamp set that is great for baby, Easter, and a number of occasions.  You know I had to sneak some plaid into this table somehow!

I paired my treat box up with a clump of faux clover at each placesetting.   This faux clover is one of my favorite tablescaping purchases, it has been used over and over again.
The green striped plates and table runner are recent purchases from Kirklands - thanks to a nice gift card my daughter gave me for Christmas! - Thanks Allie!!
I also had to purchase 4 beer mugs from the Dollar Tree, because we did not own 4 matching beer mugs that did not have some sort of Browns or Ohio State logo on them!!  These are for our Great Lakes Brewing Co. Conway's Irish Ale - have to support our local brewery!!  Good stuff!

Speaking of good stuff - be sure to check out all of the other St. Patrick's Day Tablescapes!!

In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.

  9. Ann I echo all the comments above regarding the little sheep and the adorable truck. I look forward to your craftiness in regards to party favors as it is the little details that make a table stand out. Since I am in sunny Florida, I can't help but enjoy your narrative on the ice fishermen...albeit from afar. As usual, you make this blog hop fun and informative. Have a great day and stay warm.
