In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.

Welcome
Hi, I am Ann, a self proclaimed dish hoarder. I have a penchant for anything plaid, polka dot, or paisley. I love mixing patterns and colors. This has evolved into paper projects as well. I created this page as a way to share my inspiration and ideas with others! I find myself starting a new chapter in life at 65!! I am so grateful to the support of my children and my friends who have been by my side. I look forward to many more years of creative endeavors and hope to share more with you in the future! Thanks for stopping by :)

Such a sweet table Ann filled with peach delights. You are the party favor queen. The little jar filled with peach votives is so fun. What a lovely find those little boards are you found in the Amish country. I love your added details, the tags, paper. Lovely peach table Ann. Happy summer.
ReplyDeleteHow cute! I love your peach theme and the wooden servers. Adorable! I'm linking from Linda's blog!

ReplyDeleteAnn, your sweet peach table inspiration has me craving peaches. I bought a few yesterday, the first of our local hill country peaches that we favor. They are not yet ripe, so I have to wait a day or so. Thanks for sharing these clever ideas. Your table is peachy keen! It's a pleasure to hop with you.

ReplyDeleteAnn, there are so many cute details to this tablescape and tons of inspiration to be had. The peach candle in the mason jar with the label, the peach plates from Hobby Lobby, and your chunky wood cutting boards from the Amish Country are really special. Love that you tied it into your mantel.
ReplyDeleteHappy summer :)

Ann!!! I LOVE this! This peach theme is just perfect for summer, and a theme so rarely seen! Now, those chunky cutting boards...I am SO envious!! Those are ADORABLE!! Your sweet garland to coordinate with your table is perfect!
ReplyDeleteAnn, I so enjoyed your Sweet Peach Summer Table! I sound like a broken record, but I love how you follow your theme, carrying it over to your mantel and dΓ©cor. The round boards are such a fun addition and so versatile and the peach plates that you “picked” from Hobby Lobby are perfect and so affordable. I always enjoy seeing your creativity with your Stamping Up additions and favors you include. As always it’s a treat to join you at the table and hop with you. Hope you are enjoying some lake time! Happy Summer ♥
ReplyDeletePeaches are such a southern staple in the South and I love your fun tablescape! You did such a great job of styling your cute plates with cute peachy accessories! Have a lovely summer! ]
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for our peach season! You have given some really fun ideas :) I really adore your plate stack. The different shaped plates paired with both a solid and a pattern really is eye catching! And, the miniature cutting boards are so cute! Don't even get me started on the pie! What fun patterned paper to really make it pop!
ReplyDeleteI knew as soon as I saw your title that I was going to love this tablescape, Ann, and does not disappoint! The fact is, I adore everything peach - the fruit and any way it's used for eating, the fragrance (yes, I used to wear it as a much-loved bath & body indulgence), and the even the color (a personal style favorite of mine). Your combination of the inspiration plates with your Stampin' Up creativity is a consistent method in your styling, and I always look forward to seeing your flair. Love all the natural elements you've used to ground the look on the table too. Thanks for being a part of the party. Happy Summer!
ReplyDeleteAnn, delightful tablescape with a peach theme. I love the shape of the orange plates and the cute peach salad plates look great with the white swirled chargers. The added textures of neutral napkins, napkin rings, straw chargers, placemats add visual interest and call attention to your cute cutting boards and stampin up jars.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your tables. Happy Summer!
Oh Ann, bee still my heart! Love your unique theme and charming and inviting table and matching mantle. Those little peach plates are so sweet. And those little, thick wooden bread boards are so special and a wonderful addition to your table. My brain is buzzing with ways to use them, including in lieu of appetizer plates for a charcuterie spread. Wish I had the Peddler in Pittsburgh! As always, your crafted elements enhance the entire setting.
ReplyDeleteAnn, what an original idea. It’s peach season here in Texas (I’m sharing my peach cobbler on the blog on Saturday.) so I’m loving your tablescape. Those round cutting boards are awesome. The peach colors and patterns are spot on. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteAnn, I can smell the sweet peaches and that mouth-watering pie from here. I love the peach colored dinner plates and your salad plates patterned with peaches. It says SUMMER at every glance. It is a cozy and welcoming tablescape that brings back memories of summer baking and fun. Nothing is better than a fresh, cold and juicy summer peach. You summarized the fun and taste of summer in your peach themed tablescape. Have a wonderful summer.
