I so excited to be joining the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop group for the first time! This month the theme is Turning a New Leaf.
With the One Stamp at a Time Blog Hop I will be joining many talented card enthusiasts
as we share two items each time - a card and a 3D project.
This month's theme was to create these two items with leaves on them.

I cut out some cute little leaves from the Jolly Felt with the little leaf dies in the Giving Gifts Dies set for my projects.
I framed my leaves with some Layering Squares Dies using Very Vanilla, Bumble Bee and Old Olive Cardstock. Even though the darker felt color is Cherry Cobbler, I used Cajun Craze as my card base.
I also used the new Timeworn Type 3D Embossing folder to give the card some nice texture. The ornamental strip on top of the Old Olive Cardstock is cut from the length of the Paper Lattice that is sold in the Annual Catalog under Embellishments.
The strip of DSP is from the Harvest Meadow DSP Pack, this is what I used for my Pillow Box project as well.
This was a quick project using the Pretty PillowBox Dies. I found it was easier to get those rounded score lines folded if you run it through you Stamp and Emboss Machine a couple of times to get those lines indented nicely for a nice sharp fold.
The tag die is included with the pillow box and tied with some Linen Thread.
I hope you enjoyed my leaf projects!

It should put you in a fall creative state of mind!!
In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.
Hi, I am Ann, a self proclaimed dish hoarder. I have a penchant for anything plaid, polka dot, or paisley. I love mixing patterns and colors. This has evolved into paper projects as well. I created this page as a way to share my inspiration and ideas with others!
I find myself starting a new chapter in life at 65!! I am so grateful to the support of my children and my friends who have been by my side. I look forward to many more years of creative endeavors and hope to share more with you in the future!
Thanks for stopping by :)
