In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.

Hi, I am Ann, a self proclaimed dish hoarder. I have a penchant for anything plaid, polka dot, or paisley. I love mixing patterns and colors. This has evolved into paper projects as well. I created this page as a way to share my inspiration and ideas with others! I find myself starting a new chapter in life at 65!! I am so grateful to the support of my children and my friends who have been by my side. I look forward to many more years of creative endeavors and hope to share more with you in the future! Thanks for stopping by :)

Ann, Your table is adorable! I love your theme as I have bunnies running amok by the Potting Shed, nibbling on my perennials as soon as they break ground. They keep me hopping trying to keep them away. What a fun dog family and cute treats with your Stampin’ Up touch! I see a really cute vignette at the top corner of second photo that I would love to take a closer look at. I hope Lucy recovers quickly from her surgery so she can run around with her other canine family members. As always it’s a treat to join you at the table and hop with you! Happy Spring ♥
ReplyDeleteOh, my! I love the shade of pink in your lovely napkins. Those chocolates with the doggies sporting the rabbit ears are just too adorable. And those watering can napkin rings!!! Love all your soft spring touches.
ReplyDeleteYour centerpiece is so pretty and i would enjoy sitting at this table! Cute idea to wrap your chocolates with a header! I miss stamping and should really pull the out again and play with them! Hope your pooch recovers quickly. Happy Spring
ReplyDeleteAnn, I love that shade of peachy pink on the plates. Peach has always been a favorite color of mine. The plates make a nice contrast with the grey tones and the bunnies at each place setting. And all the greenery down the middle of the table feels fresh as spring.
ReplyDeleteHave a Happy Easter,
Rachelle
Ann, your Easter bunnies in the garden is darling. The tablecloth makes a perfect backdrop for your lovely pink plate stack. Such a charming centerpiece with the white bunny. Of course I love your favors with the dog bunny disguise. You are so talented creating fun party favors and cards. Always a pleasure to join you on these fun blog hops.
ReplyDeleteAnn, I understand the dilemma of bunnies running amok. We have one living under our magnolia tree, and two babies popped out yesterday when my husband was burning a brush pile. They immediately ran under my cottage. They are cute, but so pesky. Your table is darling with the pink and gray plate stack. The dog treats are so sweet as is the dog family! Best wishes for Lucy’s quick recovery. It is always a treat to hop with you…Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteHi Ann! I love your watering can napkin rings--what pretty place settings! It is a pleasure to hop with you again! Blessings, Cecilia @My Thrift Store Addiction
ReplyDeleteSo delightful Ann, I love that you had to bring in the dogs to control the bunnies! The tablecloth is so much fun and you styled the plate stacks perfectly to match and compliment. The centerpiece is adorable and so perfect for your fun theme! All the family dogs look so lovable, and the bunny disguise dog treats are hilarious! As always your Stampin Up creation favors are such a special touch, and I always love seeing your mantel styled to match your cute tablescapes! Thank you for the many smiles!

I look forward to your stamped up party favors Ann...you are so talented and your table is perfectly set up. You needed not to worry about the table cloth being too busy.
ReplyDeleteI know you will get the bunny situation under control with your dog sleuths on the job. I would have never recognized them in their bunny disguises. Love the colors you have chosen for your plate stack. Always fun to hop with you.

Your pastel pink is just deliciously gorgeous! I love it all ♥
ReplyDeleteI agree, Ann,those little watering can napkin rings are very cute and cheerful! I like the sweet trim on your napkins. That adds just the right touch.
ReplyDeleteYou really scored with the floral tablecloth. Your solid plates were perfect with it and all your bunnies look so cute. I love your runner and centerpiece and your cute and creative flavors.I always look forward to seeing what you will do with your Stampin Up creativity.
Ann, I love dogs, so this is a very fun post for me. Thanks for sharing all the pups in your family, and I think all dogs deserve Easter treats. I love the shades of pinks and greens on your table. I also love your centerpiece in the lantern. I've been drawn to soft pinks and greens lately, especially greens in olive leaves and eucalyptus leaves. Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteHow adorable! Ann, I love your tablecloth and choice of subtle solids here with the pink, grey, green and white. Those are beautiful colors, and they don't overwhelm the way brighter prints can sometimes. It's a very soothing look. What a pack of dogs and granddogs! You guys love the big ones, and that's amazing. I have two large granddogs (bigger than me!) and one smaller one. I hope your guy recovers well from his surgery. The little chocolates with dogs disguising as bunnies are so cute. Dogs have their way of going straight to our hearts with their antics. Your takeaways are a great nod to how we hoomans love our furbabies. Thanks so much for bringing your creative flair to the blog hop, Ann
ReplyDeleteAnn, I'm sorry the bunnies are out in your garden. Hopefully the resident dogs will scare them off. Your table is delightful! I love the colorful tablecloth, and your dish stack is perfect with its soft pastel color. Darling napkin ring detail and candy treats. Happy Spring! Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun table. The tablecloth and centerpiece are beautiful and I love your choice of plate stack colors. It looks like some of the bunnies are ready to nibble on whatever you serve, although it took me awhile to find all four gray ones.
ReplyDeleteAnn, what a charming table and story. Yes, bunnies can run amuck. Thank God, Fern, our granny bunny is a senior bunny and visits only to leave the goodie baskets. I absolutely love your choice of a tablecloth. I just seen this at our HomeGoods this week and was very tempted to buy one too. It is perfect with your collection of pink and gray plates. Your bunnies in disguise chocolates are so cute for your adorable theme. How lucky to have such friendly pet dogs. I am allergic to them, so I can't cuddle with them. They are such a wonderful addition to the family. Have a wonderful Easter holiday.
ReplyDeleteI love your table set as a garden! The centerpiece flanked by new growth tulips and leaves serving as the base for the place settings is really charming. I love the soft pinks in the tablecloth, napkins and plates. Bunnies certainly can run amok in the garden -- they nibble my hostas until there's nothing left, sigh... But I enjoy bunnies on tables and your doggies in bunny costume are so cute!
ReplyDeleteOh Ann! Your table theme speaks to me on so many levels! Bunnies have inhabited our yard as well, despite our herd of golden retrievers! They don't seem at all bothered! You have put such a fun spin on the whole situation! That tablecloth is so sweet, and I think my favourite is your pink plate stack with the dog theme chocolates! Your centrepiece most certainly is fitting, and adorable too! A very happy Easter to you! Hope you pup recovers well from his operation!
ReplyDeleteHi, Ann! I share your state of disconcertedness when it comes to busy tablecloths. I'm always wringing my hands with nervousness as to whether or not my table looks like a 3-ring circus. YOU, my dear, pulled it off!!!!!! I guess it's like wearing a dress that's all sparkly and fancy...you have to go simple with the jewelry! I like the way the grey plates work so well to even out the palette. I'm really sorry to hear about your dog's surgery, but he looks to be doing well. Hallelujah! Dogs are treasured family members, and you just HATE to see them in pain!!!
