Thanksgiving is fast approaching! No matter how you celebrate - big or small - it is a time to reflect and be grateful for all that we have and all the good we have experienced. I like to include some small reminder of what this holiday is all about.
I am joining my gaggle of tablescapers to share our Thanksgiving tables. The very gracious Rita from Panoply has gathered us together to serve up some inspiration!
The links to all of the other creative ladies joining in today will be at the bottom of my post!

We will actually be celebrating our traditional Thanksgiving dinner at my son's house where my wonderful daughter-in-law will make the turkey. She is a wonderful cook and we are blessed to have her take on this endeavor last year and now continue to host our whole family!
So, my table is a kind of casual nod to Thanksgiving since it won't be where we have our dinner.
I found these whimsical woodland characters that I thought my grandson's would love and wanted to incorporate them into the centerpiece.
I stuck to a pretty simple placesetting and color scheme to let these little guys reside over the table.
To stick with the woodland theme I used "wood like" chargers and plates along with my "twig like" flatware.
I stamped out a napkin ring on a wood slab ornament using Stampin' Up!'s Cottage Wreaths stamp set, a leafy wreath and the the word grateful.
This just adds that little reminder of why we gather on Thanksgiving!
Now let's see what everyone else has done with their tables!

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Ann, I love your Thanksgiving table setting! You've combined lovely colors and so many fun accents! Blessings, Cecilia @My Thrift Store Addiction
ReplyDeleteAnn, your table is very creative and eye catching. I love your theme and the whimsical characters for your grandsons. They will remember these!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing are your napkin rings that you made. You have been very successful with your stampin up talents.
Grateful is a wonderful thing to camp on in these times.
Blessings to you and your family this Thanksgiving.
Oh, Ann, this is my favorite so far - I am drawn to the simplicity and color! The fox is adorable and I really like your flatware. The napkin ties are so clever! Happy Thanksgiving - enjoy having your DIL host dinner!!
ReplyDeleteWell done, Ann! I love those woodland characters and how you used all the other elements to pretty much frame them up as the stars of the table. The woven textiles make for a really nice colorway on the table too. I like casual, and this definitely appeals to me, and would make me want to sit with the grandkids to be able to enjoy it all. I love how you refer to us as a gaggle of stylists, lol. I guess we were a murder of stylists on Halloween. ;-) Thank you for bringing your fun and creative spirit to the table. Enjoy your Thanksgiving as a guest to all the hosting at your son's & dil's!
ReplyDeleteHow cute are those woodland characters Ann! They look so cute peeking out of your centerpiece table runner. I love the soft colors you used and the darling Stampin' Up napkin ring tags. Your mantel ties in perfectly as it always does and the big Enjoy! is so festive! How nice to be a guest this year with your sweet DIL cooking for you! Have a blessed time~

Very sweet table Ann. The woodland characters make me smile. Love the stacked critters and that cute fox. You always impress us with your Stampin' Up! skills. Your table is warm and cozy. How special your d-i-l is a great cook.. Love seeing your fireplace mantel in the background. Always a pleasure to join you. Happy Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteAnn, your table is AH-dorable! First of all, I love how your linens match the little woodland creatures featured on your table. I also think the stamped napkin rings make your table because they are so personalized, and the color of the ink you used is perfect. Such a darling table! It is making me smile this afternoon. Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteAnn, I'm a big fan of two-tone place setting and yours is quite striking. I love how the neutral background and centerpiece is offset by the vibrant napkins and stitching in the placemats. The stamped napkin rings are the perfect finish. Lovely table. Happy Thanksgiving!

Ann, I love the woodland characters and I know your grandsons will also love them. Your plate stack with the stamped napkin ring is perfect for the season. I always enjoy seeing your mantel and how well it coordinates with your table. Lovely, lovely table! Wishing you a blessed Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteThe woodland creatures are adorable! They are perfect as the focal point of the table. I love that you carried the theme with wood/wood-like tableware. The deep colors of the linens match those of the wood items, yet soften the overall effect. I liked the interesting mix of textures in the centerpiece. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving at your son's -- and bring home lots of leftovers to enjoy at this charming table!
ReplyDeleteAnn, I’m a fan of woodland creatures just like your grandsons. The pilgrim-turkey totem with owl and fox is adorable! Love your stamping touch added to the wood slab ornament as a napkin embellishment. I know you're thankful your DIL is hosting Thanksgiving and preparing the turkey. As always it’s a treat to join you at the table and hop with you again. Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving ♥
ReplyDeleteAnn I love your look for Thanksgiving this year. I always look forward to your tables because you always have something out of the ordinary and so inspirational even though I never seem to find the time for "stamping" or making little favor boxes. My intentions are always good and I even make notes in my day timer that I seem to procrastinate doing anything about. :( How wonderful your DIL is making your dinner the last couple years...it sounds like she is carrying the baton you have handed off. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteAnn, you have set such a beautiful table. The woodland characters are precious and add a fun element to your table. I love the rich color you chose for your tablecloth and napkins. It is so striking! The napkin rings are so pretty that you made and add the perfect Thanksgiving touch. I hope that you and your family have a Happy Thanksgiving! Shannon@Belle Bleu Interiors
ReplyDeleteOh, my goodness! I LOVE your napkin rings! That is what first caught my eye, and I was wondering where you bought them. I am so impressed that you made them! Such a beautiful tablescape. You did a wonderful job! God bless you and your family this Thanksgiving season.
ReplyDeleteAnn, I love you gorgeous table which had a bit of bling, natural elements and whimsy. I love the color combination that you designed. A burnt orange with the silver leaf plant and neutral pumpkins. I adore the whimsical characters on your table. They fit in perfectly with all of the other elements. Enjoy your holiday with your family.
ReplyDeleteAnn, I love your woodland friends that you have added to your table! So cute! The little wood slices you have adorned with the stamp are perfection, and really make the plate stack extra special! How lovely that your daughter-in-law is hosting the family. Enjoy, and Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteAnn, as always, your table is adorable. You always seem to add something cute and whimsical to the centerpiece that puts a smile on my face. I think it is truly wonderful to allow are young ones to grab the baton and run with it. Taking on hosting a major holiday dinner is one of the ways we grow. How incredible bless you are to have such an amazing daughter-in-law!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a happy Thanksgiving :)
