Welcome
Hi, I am Ann, a self proclaimed dish hoarder. I have a penchant for anything plaid, polka dot, or paisley. I love mixing patterns and colors. This has evolved into paper projects as well. I created this page as a way to share my inspiration and ideas with others! I find myself starting a new chapter in life at 65!! I am so grateful to the support of my children and my friends who have been by my side. I look forward to many more years of creative endeavors and hope to share more with you in the future! Thanks for stopping by :)

Oh Ann...isn't it funny how some people try to help only to find out that they really aren't helping at all? LOL That is when I remind myself that they are putting forth an effort and that is all that counts. Having said that...I LOVE the fresh veggies and the carrots and radishes remind me of that very old Captain Kangaroo, Mr. Green Jeans and Bunny Rabbit television show. Oops, that is really dating me, isn't it? I like your bunny dishes from PB...and I, too admired them. Like the napkin rings...so Mr. McGregor-ish. Great job my friend and it is always fun to hop with you. Sorry my url is not working properly but the actual website seems to be ok. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteOops...I fell into the old word press trap above and should have not been anonymous and should have stuck in my name...:( Capt. Kangaroo come to my rescue as you always did for bunny. Kari @ Me and My Captain

DeleteGood Morning Ann, I’m grinning from ear to ear at your adorable table! What a find your Peter Rabbit plates were, I have a set I purchased from Pottery Barn several years ago and even though I got them on sale, I like yours so much better! I love your bountiful centerpiece of Peter Rabbit’s favorites and with your exuberant bunny with his carrot. I can relate to the bending of your stems of your produce. I usually do self-checkout when I have something I don’t want bruised or manhandled for that reason. 😊 As always, it’s a treat to join you at the table. Happy Spring to you! 🐇 🥕 🧡
ReplyDeleteOh Ann, how cute is your bunny!!! I love the piles of fresh vegetables in your centerpiece! The Beatrix Potter plates are adorable! The little potted plants at each place and the watering can napkin rings look so cute~ I know you cringed when you saw the girl folding your carrot tops…As always I love seeing your mantel and how you tie it in with your theme, so pretty and fun!
ReplyDeleteI hope your snow melts soon and Spring really starts springing! So nice to be hopping with you 🥕🐇🌷

I always root for the bunny so seeing your wonderful champion bunny made me laugh. Loved the vegetable centerpiece. It fits perfectly with your theme and carries the color over into your table setting. The Peter Rabbit plates are very sweet. Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteYour bunny should be very happy prancing victoriously in the beautiful vegetable centerpiece. He is so cute, he's making me giggle this morning! What a darling idea! I love Beatrix Potter, and I was recently gifted a thick book featuring her gardens, photos, and art. I'm taking it on vacation with me next week! I love all things Beatrix Potter, and the Peter Rabbit plates are so pretty. (Our oldest daughter's nursery was Peter Rabbit themed, so this tablescape is bringing back precious memories.) I also like your mantel, how it ties in with your theme. The little potted cabbages at each place setting are adorable, too. Happy spring, Ann!
ReplyDeleteHow CUTE! Every detail makes me smile, from the victorious carrot holding bunny to those pretty Peter Rabbit plates! Pinned!
ReplyDeleteAnn, you always set the prettiest tables! Mr. Rabbit is adorable standing guard over your beautiful spring table. I love the addition of the veggie centerpiece. I may borrow this for my Easter table. I adore anything Peter Rabbit, and your dinnerware is precious paired with the pretty stemware. I hope that your spring is filled with many blessings and lots of joy! Shannon@Belle Bleu Interiors
ReplyDeleteSuch a cheerful table, Ann! Just the thing I needed to celebrate Spring despite the temps. The plates are delightful and light greens perfectly capture the tiny leaves now appearing in my garden. I enjoyed hopping with you today!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, love, LOVE, LOVE every single darling detail, Ann! That overhead shot is the best! Your carrot-carrying bunny looks SO proud, and you're right about Peter Rabbit looking like he's just hopeful for a little treat. The overall setting is just perfect, and I can certainly understand the affordability of such cuteness. I sure hope HomeGoods stays around a long while. We don't have Kirkland's here anymore, but I visited one when I stayed with my sister in Cincinnati last month. Your napkins look great with that tablecloth for this setting. So happy to have you among this group, always fun and unexpected details. Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteI am always excited to see a Peter Rabbit tablescape. The proud bunny with his carrot is so cute in the vegetable garden that you created for him. I have the PB Peter Rabbit plates and my granddaughters love them. We often read about Peter, Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail. The whimsy of your tabletop is charming. Happy Spring, Ann!
ReplyDeleteAnn, your natural real centerpiece is delightful and the cute bunny does look proud of his surroundings!
ReplyDeleteI love the darling Peter Rabbit dishes and you styled your table perfectly. I also love the watering can napkin rings. Love your styled theme mantel also.
Ann, I hope it stops snowing. I know you are ready for spring. It's spring in your kitchen though. I enjoyed your tablescape today.
Ann, those plates are adorable. And, how clever to take a cue from them to arrange your centrepiece! Why is it that grocery store clerks snap off the lovely greens from the carrots?! I LOVE the bunny, triumphantly holding up his prize carrot! So cute!! Your wine glasses are especially pretty too. Happy Spring :)
ReplyDeleteAnn, your table is adorable! I love your centerpiece bunny with his victory carrot surrounded by all the vegetables in the garden. Our HomeSense here had some Beatrix Potter things but definitely not the plates - what a great score and they look fabulous on your table. Love the napkins and napkin rings too. Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteAnn, I think your Peter Rabbit plates are wonderful. What a fun find! I love Peter Rabbit themes! Very clever to use fresh garden veggies as your centerpiece.
ReplyDeletePerfect idea! Happy Spring!
What a great table!!! Love it and thanks for sharing your ideas. I'm going to copy your idea for my Easter table :)
ReplyDeleteAnn. how incredibly darling! Your centerpiece bunny among the veggies was the first to catch my eye. He stands among the goodies as if to triumphantly show off his prize carrot. I think he dug up the largest one in the garden! He really made me smile! And your selection of your Peter Rabbit dinner plates and salad plates make for a perfect combination. It is full of sweetness and charm. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteOh, Ann! What a fun table!!! I loved your story about shopping for the carrots - I had the same thing almost happen to me at a grocery store recently when I was purchasing carrots with the leaves attached - I had to quickly spring into action to stop the gal from stuffing them into a bag with the leaves bent - she looked a little askance at me and just shrugged - LOL! We bloggers must seem so silly to others!!! But they always thank us later when they see something they like on Pinterest - LOL!!!! The theme for my daughter's nursery was Peter Rabbit so I'm quite charmed with your plates and I love the garden centerpiece you created! What a wonderful harvest you have!!! One of my most favorite elements though are those napkin rings!!! Oh, my!! They're adorable!!! Thank you for sharing a seat at your table today! What a joy!!!! ~ Hugs ~ Jennifer from CelebratingEverydayLife.com
ReplyDeleteAnn, Peter Rabbit was the theme of my first granddaughter's nursery and at 9 years old, she still loves everything Peter Rabbit. Because of this, I will always have a soft spot for Beatrix Potter's naughty little rabbit. I have the Peter Rabbit plates from Pottery Barn, but these are so unique, I feel like I am going to have to go on a Home Goods hunt!! Now, that bunny!! When I saw the first photo, it just made me so happy! That bunny is truly celebrating life! I love the carrot story, that is we bloggers for you!!
ReplyDeleteAnn, your centerpiece of fresh veggies is so clever and unique! I love the happy bunny holding the carrot, and those Peter Rabbit plates are such a fabulous Home Goods find. It's fun to be hopping with you again! Happy Spring :)
