Ready for some Halloween fun? I don't think my little haunted tablescape will scare too many even though it has it's share of ghostly moments!
I am participating in our Halloween Tablescape Hop curated by our fabulous director of spooky fun, Rita from Panoply.
There are 18 of us participating and all the links will be at the bottom of my post. So sit down with your favorite fall drink and enjoy some Halloween inspiration!

My barely scary. black and white table was inspired by all the ghosts that seem to be on trend this Halloween!
And what better home for the ghosts than a haunted house for both my centerpiece and my salad plates?!
I thought a spirit had made an appearance in the photo below in the the bottom left hand corner - but it turned out to be my thumb!! So I covered it up with some special effects!
I had to glue a couple of fingers back on to one of my treat bowls!! Luckily they broke off right at the joints and you can barely tell.
The square dishes on my hutch were gifted to me by Mary from Home is Where the Boat Is - many years ago! I was thrilled that they made it through the moving process with no problem!
Speaking of Mary and our other fabulous table stylists!! Let's see what kind of spooky fun they have cooked up!!
Just an FYI - this haunted house has been a challenge, It lights up but not very brightly - it barely shows up in any photos. It also shed a blueish glitter dust all over. I kept getting it on my hands and then there were blue finger prints on my chairs. Maybe I should have left them, it almost looked like a crime unit had been in dusting for prints!! I think I have been watching and reading too many murder mysteries!
Oh, the candy bowl is adorable and the napkin rings are fabulous!! Your hutch must be fun to decorate each season/holiday! Awesome table!
ReplyDeleteLove the black and white theme you have for this tablescape. The haunted house in the center of the table sets the tone. I'm a big fan of the Royal Stafford plates. They strike just the right note between elegant and spooky. Carrying the theme to the china hutch is something I love to see and this was executed brilliantly. Have a lovely Halloween

Your creativity always delights me, Ann, but that haunted house would be the curse of a lifetime for me! I am such a glitterphobe, and my kids make fun of me for it. I have to say, though, it's super fitting on your tablescape. I love the Royal Stafford plates, and the entire stack is fantastic (I love reading sources). Those bowls are super creepy, and cute with how you filled them. The hutch looks terrific all decked out, and what a great way to be able to finish off a themed tablescape. So happy you joined us and are settling into your new abode. I hope you have lots of cupboard storage for dishes!!😉
