Snow Days - New Year, New Cards

Hi All,  I am in snowy Ohio sharing some cards made with Papertry Ink's Build-a-hat Dies

I have been having fun making these winter caps with some fun sentiments appropriate for the conditions outside!

It has been a while since I have posted any of my cards,  I have decided to start sharing some of my card creations using the different companies I have been making some purchases from.  I am not paid by these companies - I just enjoy their products - and want to share ideas.  I will be putting links in the posts to the main products that I have used.  Many of the papers that I will be using may be old, and I may stick some old gems or ribbon on a card as well.

The main die sets in these two cards is Papertrey Ink's  Build a Hat Dies and the This is Big Sentiments:Snow die and their stamp set - This Is Big Sentiments: Snow Stamp Set.

I love all the dies that come with this set to make the different textures and the big pom pom!! I used another die I had to make the little leather tab under the heart and a snow embossing folder that I had for the background.

On the blue card I used a stencil from The Greetery the back ground.

These are simple and fun ways to spread some cheer here in the Northeast when the winter gets long!

In the past few years my interests have grown from fabric to paper and now to dishes too! I just love prints, polkadots, plaids and paisleys- hence the blog name.

  1. These cards are so cute! I used to make cards all the time but have gotten away from it. You've inspired me to get back to doing something in the new year that I really enjoy .
